Valitsusele tehakse ettepanek töötada välja ja esitada seaduseelnõu, millega luuakse Eestis finantsombudsmani institutsioon. Finantsombudsmani ülesanne oleks lahendada finantsteenuse kliendi ja finantsteenuse osutaja vahelisi vaidlusi kohtuväliselt, sõltumatult, kiiresti ja inimestele jõukohase kuluga.
