Summary

Ms. Fadila Khattabi draws the attention of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs to the problem of repatriation to Algeria of Algerian skulls currently kept at the National Museum of Natural History-Musée de l'Homme (MNHN). The Algerian authorities contacted the French Government on this subject in 2016 in order to obtain answers concerning the procedure and the list of preserved remains. During his traveling to Algeria on December 6, 2017, the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, committed to returning “the skulls of the missing”.
