Summary
Ms. Corinne Vignon draws the attention of the Minister of Solidarity and Health to the need for a national plan to combat pain and palliative care. Indeed, in addition to the virtual absence of training in the curriculum of medical students, the fear of suffering and the fear of therapeutic relentlessness grip patients when they reach the end of life. Furthermore, the nursing staff see their dismay increase in the face of the inadequacy of palliative care structures to accommodate and care for these patients. Also, the associations which work on a daily basis to develop and promote palliative care are questioning the need for a national plan whose purpose would be the fight against pain at the end of life. She would like to know what measures the Government can take in favor of this measure.
