Summary
Mr. Didier Le Gac draws the attention of the Minister of State, Minister for Ecological and Inclusive Transition, to the aid granted by France to photovoltaic electricity producers. As part of tariff orders taken by the Government in 2006, 2010, 2011 and 2017, to encourage the development of renewable energies, an aid scheme granted to photovoltaic electricity producers guaranteed the repurchase of electricity produced at a price higher than the market price. Despite Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, these orders were never notified to the European Commission prior to their granting. This aid has already been paid by the French State and a certain number of producers who have developed this renewable energy sector are wondering about the future of the contract, or even the risk of recovery of aid already received. In order to be able to provide useful clarifications to photovoltaic electricity producers, he would like to know to what extent the Government intends to regularize the tariffs for 2006, 2010 and 2011 - i.e. for the period prior to February 10, 2017 - once the Commission has ruled on the compatibility of these different aid schemes.
