The proposed law on measures to build the society of aging well in France was adopted at first reading in the National Assembly on November 23, 2023. It will define the public financing objectives necessary to ensure the healthy aging of elderly people, the recruitment of professionals and the means implemented to achieve these objectives. The minister responsible for solidarity and families, as well as the entire Government, are fully involved in responding to the demographic transition and enabling people to age well, whether at home or in an establishment.
