Summary

Mr. Thomas Rudigoz questions the Minister of Labor on the advisability of creating a professional branch specific to artistic professions. Numbering 281, they are in fact demanding a restructuring of the branches, which currently do not take into account their specificities, but link them to industry or crafts. Thus, an art carpenter is attached to the collective agreement for construction workers and a cabinetmaker to that of furniture manufacturing. The transversality of this sector has, however, been well recognized in the law on crafts, commerce and very small businesses of June 18, 2014 which defines artistic professions, supplemented by the law on freedom of creation, architecture and heritage of July 7, 2016. To secure the future of these 38,000 companies, which generate a turnover of 8 billion euros, it now appears necessary to continue this momentum by encouraging the negotiation of a collective agreement for the artistic professions. The challenge of such a restructuring being, initially, to facilitate access to training in these trades - for some forgotten - which contribute to the influence of traditional French know-how: ceramist, trimmings, felt maker, wood turner, marquetry maker, ornament maker, etc. He therefore asks her to kindly express her position regarding the creation of a professional branch specific to the arts and crafts.
