Summary
Mr. Martial Saddier draws the attention of the Minister of Solidarity and Health to the reimbursement of special hearing aids for people suffering from major aplasia. This malformation, which impacts the outer and middle ear, requires specific hearing aids which are very expensive for families. For an estimated cost of 4,000 euros, there remains, after reimbursement of social security and any mutual funds, around 3,000 euros payable by families, or 6,000 euros if both sides are affected. In addition, these devices must be changed every four to five years on average. It therefore turns out that the financial impact for families is not negligible, especially since the departmental centers for disabled people refuse, in the majority of cases, to grant aid to these families. Furthermore, a child not device cannot attend school in good conditions. He loses about 40% of the information he receives at school. While the reform for the rest of zero charge on hearing aids will soon be discussed, he would like to know the Government plans to include the devices necessary in the event of major aplasia.
