Summary

Mr. Martial Saddier draws the attention of the Minister of Territorial Cohesion to the regulations currently in force concerning the prior declaration signs for the submission of building permits. Indeed, article A. 424-15 of the town planning code provides that “The display on the land of the explicit or tacit building, development or demolition permit or the display of the prior declaration, provided for by article R. 424-15, is ensured by the beneficiary of the permit or the declarant on a rectangular panel whose dimensions are greater than 80 centimeters. However, the Aquilux sheets which are used for the manufacture of permit panels only exist in two dimensions: 80 x 120 cm or 120 x 160 cm and are therefore greater than 80 cm. On several occasions, case law has invalidated panels whose width was just 80 centimeters, threatening as well as building permits. This situation is not without problems because it requires a recutting of the 120 x 160 panels, resulting in a drop in discharge of almost 49% of the plate. Given this situation, he therefore wishes to know if the Government plans to modify article A. 424-15 of the town planning code, by providing for example that the dimensions of the panels be greater than 79 centimeters.
