Summary
Ms. Élisabeth Toutut-Picard draws the attention of the Minister of Solidarity and Health to the treatment of endometriosis. Often diagnosed late, this chronic disease affects one in ten women of childbearing age, causing pain, severe complications and risks of infertility. Endometriosis is not recognized as a long-term condition (ALD) defined by article L. 324-1 of the safety code social, which allows 100% coverage by health insurance. Excluded from the ALD30 list, patients must make a request for ALD off the list from their attending physician. Off-list ALD is then granted, or not, by social security. The support is therefore disparate and this lack of recognition constitutes an additional difficulty for the women affected. She wants to know if the Government plans to recognize endometriosis as a long-term condition in order to allow its 100% coverage by health insurance.
