Summary

Mr. Olivier Gaillard draws the attention of the Minister, to the Minister of State, Minister of Ecological and Inclusive Transition, responsible for transport, to the taxi parking authorizations issued by mayors. After having passed the professional capacity certificate examination and obtained the professional card, the taxi driver must, to be able to carry out his activity, either hold a parking (ADS), commonly called a “taxi license” or “plate”, or working as a tenant or employee on behalf of an operator holding an ADS. However, a parking authorization is not, in the strict sense, an establishment. Thus, when several ADSs are issued for the same operator, it appears difficult to have a precise vision of the related activity and to make a specific mention in the directory of professions. In order to remedy this situation, it could for example be considered to assign a SIRET number to each ADS in order to have an exact vision of the economic weight of this activity. This would allow mayors to have a precise inventory of the said ADSs issued in order to be able to make an informed decision regarding future allocations and to regulate their circulation as best as possible. Also, he would like to know the Government's position on this matter.
