Since then, no new compensation has been allocated to these structures, jeopardizing the sustainability of many of them. However, they represent essential links in the chain of continuity of primary care provided to vulnerable populations, often far from any other offer of care. For example, a non-profit home care association in Doubs which manages two nursing health centers and an SSIAD, is showing a deficit for the first time after 35 years of activity.
