Summary
Mrs. Annie Genevard questions the Minister of Labor on professional training dedicated to craftsmen, micro-entrepreneurs and heads of craft businesses. The vocational training reform, implemented by the Government in 2018, aimed to reiterate the importance of the latter in the fight against unemployment and the competitiveness of our economy. Despite this assertion, the exercise of rights to professional training of artisans remains very uncertain. Indeed, the organization responsible for financing the latter informed all beneficiaries that as of March 15, 2019, it would no longer have sufficient means to finance new training. According to this organization, in a press release, such a difficulty is explained by the transfer to the URSSAF of the collection of the training contribution by the DGFiP which would have resulted in the “ disappearance” of 170,000 companies from the files and thus distorted the data. Also, she would like to know the actions of the ministry to try to remedy this situation and guarantee artisans the same training rights as other professional categories.
