Summary
Mr. Rémi Delatte draws the attention of the Secretary of State, attached to the Prime Minister, responsible for disabled people, to discrimination regularly raised concerning workers with disabilities admitted to an establishment and work assistance service (ESAT) in terms of covering transport costs. Party to a so-called “support and assistance through work” contract, the person working within an ESAT is not considered an employee and cannot therefore claim, like employees in ordinary environments, to cover half of the price of public transport subscriptions. If the provisions of article R. 344-10 of the social action and families code allow the organization of collective transport within the establishment when workers cannot travel themselves, it is regrettable that an employee having to both the capacity and the adequate urban network, cannot be reimbursed for half of a public transport subscription allowing him to get to his place of work in complete autonomy. Also, he asks what regulatory adjustments the Government intends to make to put an end, in an inclusive approach, to this discrimination.
