As such, the long-standing, and until now flawless, involvement of the city and then the agglomeration community of Cergy-Pontoise through its influential conservatory regional (CRR), as well as the close partnership established with the management of the departmental national education services of Val d'Oise (DSDEN 95), constituted an exemplary situation. In this context, the unilateral cessation of classes with arranged music times by the Cergy-Pontoise urban community also moved the Minister of Culture. It is for this reason that she asked her services to work on the reopening of dialogue between the Rectorate of Versailles, the DSDEN 95 and the community while reminding the latter of the missions of a CRR defined by the decree of December 15, 2006.
