Summary

Mr. Laurent Furst draws the attention of the Minister of Solidarity and Health to the perverse effect caused by the principle of the request and single liquidation of retirement pensions for poly-pensioners (LURA) in respect of complementary activities, introduced by the law of January 20, 2014 “guaranteeing the future and justice of the pension system”. Indeed, since July 1, 2017, assets having contributed to several pension funds receive at the time of liquidation of their retirement rights only a single pension calculated from all the remuneration giving rise to contributions, for all insurance periods, in all the schemes concerned. However, in the case of policyholders who have spent the majority of their career with a special scheme not affected by the LURA, but who have had, on the one hand, part of their career and on the other hand, additional activities with the schemes concerned, taking into account the years of additional work and the low income associated with it very significantly reduces the amount of the pension to which the insured could have claimed for his first part of his career. Also, he would like to know the measures that the Government intends to take in order to correct this perverse effect where taking into account years of work reduces the amount of the insured's retirement pension.
