Summary
Mr. Rémy Rebeyrotte draws the attention of the Minister, to the Minister of State, Minister of Ecological and Inclusive Transition, responsible for transport, to the essential renovation of the Central Europe Atlantic railway (VFCEA) between Chagny and Nevers. This axis is one of the priorities supported by the Government following the work of the Orientation and Infrastructure Council (COI). This important file of modernization of an axis east-west railway, in the center of France, concerns both passengers and freight. On this last aspect, it would help relieve congestion in the Paris region, which is already saturated with regard to rail transport. 240 million euros have been earmarked in the state-region plan contract of Burgundy-Franche-Comté. He would like to have details, firstly on the timetable for the different phases of the project, from study to completion, then on all the financial resources that can be mobilized with their respective deadlines and finally on the question of electrification knowing that the main thing is the regeneration of the line and its bringing up to standards, particularly in terms of safety and signaling.
