For the future of French medical biology, it is important to reconcile two imperatives: the constraint weighing on public finances and maintaining a high level of performance in the sector in terms of innovation and service provided to the patient. The multi-year memoranda of understanding signed since 2014 have made it possible to meet this dual objective. New technologies in Nanomaterials improve the sensitivity of tests and enable miniaturization of diagnostic platforms. In this context, a loosening of the conditions for implementing delocalized biology, limited to the practice of simple and automated examinations and placed under the supervision of biologists, is relevant. It will provide a complementary response to local issues and response to urgent needs.
