Summary
Mrs Marion Lenne questions the Minister of Solidarity and Health on the situation of cross-border workers in Switzerland and on the teleworking regime. Regulation (EC) No. 883/2004 on the coordination of social security systems provides that a worker living in an EU or EEA Member State or in Switzerland and working in another State is subject to social security of the State where he works. However, in the event of activity substantial by more than 25% in the State of residence, the worker is subject to social security in the State of residence. The health crisis we are experiencing has fundamentally changed working habits with massive recourse to teleworking. Thus, she asks him what the Government's intentions are regarding changes to the existing legal framework, in order to allow cross-border workers in Switzerland to be able to continue to carry out their job remotely under the conditions of the amicable agreement of March 2020.
