Mr. Benoît Biteau attracts the attention of the Minister of State, Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice? on the proper application of the law concerning the publication of information of public interest on the subject of green algae in Brittany. However, it would have been of prime importance, at the time, for us to officially know the causes of this death, most likely linked to the putrefaction of green algae which produces this violent toxic gas, hydrogen sulphide. The authorities, in particular the health services, could then have taken all the necessary precautions and, among other things, equipped the collectors of the stranded algae with gas masks and detectors. And Thierry MorFOisse would perhaps not have died in 2009 while transporting decomposing algae without his employer having informed him of the danger linked to this activity. Given the seriousness of the situation, it is urgent to fully inform users of areas affected by green algae of the risks they run by using them. In addition, for the good information of the administrative judge and the smooth running of current procedures, this essential information on the cause of death of these animals in connection with the state of the places where they died, cannot be withheld from the knowledge of administrative judges. The MP therefore asks the Minister to ensure compliance with the law of criminal procedure, so that justice can make public the results of autopsies concerning suspicious deaths; but also to investigate the disappearance of the Auffray file and the lack of a satisfactory response to the requests of a doctor working to bring to light the truth. He wants to know her intentions on this matter.
