On October 25, 2018, during the interministerial disability committee, the Government announced as part of the priority “Living at home and maintaining good health” the revision of the list of products and services reimbursable by health insurance as well as the updating of the decree setting the prices of the disability compensation service for technical aids, in line with changing needs. Thus, the reconditioning of medical devices will be studied in this context. The Government is rather in favor of extending the life cycle of these devices, and recognizes the work carried out by the associative network in this area. The project of the Envie Autonomie association was also selected as part of the French Impact call for projects, of which the Ministry of Solidarity and Health is sponsor.
