Summary
Mrs. Michèle Peyron draws the attention of the Minister of Solidarity and Health to the place of nurses in the organization of vaccination. Indeed, the decree of August 29, 2008 authorized nurses to revaccinate vulnerable people against the flu, without a medical prescription. However, this decree limits vaccination only to the flu vaccine and to the vulnerable public, the elderly (65 years and over) and chronic patients for whom influenza vaccination is recommended. As the entourage is excluded from this vaccination, the scope of vaccination coverage is therefore limited. Given that nurses are trained in vaccination and already practice it, these limitations seem difficult to understand, particularly since it involves revaccination. Nurses play a large part in vaccination coverage. Also, she would like to ask to the Government if it plans to extend the vaccination prerogatives of nurses.
