   Depuis le 1er janvier 2019, il existe une aide au permis de conduire d'un montant forfaitaire de 500 € pour les apprentis majeurs inscrits dans une école de conduite pour la préparation des épreuves du permis de conduire autorisant la conduite des véhicules de la catégorie B. Cette aide au permis vient en complément des autres dispositifs existants, notamment déployés par plusieurs régions. Développer la mobilité pour sécuriser le parcours des apprentis revêt une importance cruciale. L'objectif de cette aide est bien de faciliter les déplacements des apprentis dans le cadre de leur formation pratique en apprentissage ou théorique en centre de formation des apprentis et de favoriser l'entrée dans la vie active. Cependant, l'abaissement de l'âge permettant l'obtention de cette aide, en lien avec l'abaissement de l'âge légal de passage de l'examen du permis de conduire à dix-sept ans, effectif depuis le 1er janvier 2024, n'est pas envisageable, au titre de 2025, dans le contexte budgétaire très contraint que nous connaissons.
