Summary

Mrs. Michèle Peyron draws the attention of the Minister of Solidarity and Health to the situation of medical analysis laboratories. Medical analysis laboratories were reformed by the decree of February 23, 2015 relating to the procedures for submitting applications for accreditation of medical biology laboratories provided for in the order of January 13, 2010 relating to medical biology. This obligation has placed many analysis laboratories in a difficult financial situation. Indeed, the cost of accreditation represents a significant portion of their turnover for independent laboratories. Many laboratories have therefore had to sell to large private financial groups who have transformed them into simple sampling centers. These so-called “multi-site” sampling centers therefore do not ensure the same quality of care than previously, although this was the initial aim of accreditation. The final date for obtaining this accreditation is December 31, 2017, which is why she is asking the Government to extend this deadline.
