Summary

The skills of nurses in vaccinations have recently been supplemented. The decree of November 14, 2017 establishing the list of people who can benefit from the injection of the seasonal influenza vaccine carried out by a nurse has thus expanded the list of populations that nurses can vaccinate against influenza, in compliance with the provisions of article R. 4311-5-1 of the Public Health Code. There modification of this article in order to integrate new vaccines requires prior consultation with the High Authority for Health (HAS), to which the technical committee for vaccinations is attached, in application of article L. 4311-1 of the public health code. The Ministry of Health made this referral in February so that the conditions for an enlargement could be studied. When the HAS has made its decision, the question to change the decree relating to the actions of nurses could be asked.
