Animal Damage Control Act of 1981

Summary

Animal Damage Control Act of 1981 - Directs the Secretary of the Interior, in cooperation with the Secretary of Agriculture, to carry out a program for controlling livestock predators. Requires the Secretary, in conducting such program, to: (1) use and permit the use of lethal and nonlethal methods and chemical toxicants; (2) undertake research activities concerning chemical toxicants and other nonlethal control techniques; (3) use preventive control techniques to manage predator populations; and (4) establish an ad hoc committee to review biennially the Secretary's animal damage control activities. Directs the Secretaries to submit annually a joint report on the development and implementation of such program to Congress. Authorizes appropriations.
