Summary

Energy Security for American Consumers Act of 2000 - Amends the Internal Revenue Code to extend the credit for producing fuel from a nonconventional source to include qualified fuels which are produced from a well drilled after the date of enactment of this Act and before January 1, 2011, or which are produced from a facility placed in service after the enactment of this Act and before January 1, 2011, and which are sold before January 1, 2013.
