Recognizes the threat to international security and basic human dignity posed by the decline of economic, humanitarian, and human rights conditions in the Republic of Zimbabwe. Deplores the undemocratic practices and failed policies of the Robert Mugabe regime in Zimbabwe. Urges all nations to join the United States in providing humanitarian relief to the Zimbabwean people. Demands that: (1) nongovernmental organizations engaged in humanitarian relief be given sufficient space to operate; and (2) political prisoners be released.
