Summary

Requests the President to transmit to the House of Representatives information in his possession regarding federal contracts for services or construction related to Hurricane Katrina recovery or rebuilding and compliance with standards for wages and benefits to be paid to workers pursuant to the Davis-Bacon Act, the Service Contract Act of 1965, or the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. Includes in such request: (1) copies of relevant portions of such contracts awarded or requested by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or by the Departments of Labor, of Education, of Homeland Security, of Health and Human Services, or of Defense, or the Army Corps of Engineers; and (2) communications made or received by such agencies related to compliance with such Acts in the geographic areas specified in the President's Proclamation 7924 of September 8, 2005.
