Bezug: BVerfG Entscheidung vom 8.11.1983 (1 BvR 1249/81), BGBl I, Nr. 6, 10.2.84, S. 210 Europäische Impulse: Richtlinie des Rates der EG 79/581/EWG vom 19.6.1979, ABl. L 158/19 Inhalt: Schaffung einer gesetzlichen Grundlage für den Neuerlaß der Verordnung über Preisangaben durch ein neues Preisangabengesetz; Änderung § 3 des Wirtschaftsstrafgesetzes 1954. Durch das Gesetz entstehen Bund, Ländern und Gemeinden keine zusätzlichen Kosten. Änderungen aufgrund der Ausschußempfehlung: Verstöße gegen das Preisangabengesetz werden mit Bußgeld belegt. Die Einhaltung der Preisangabenverordnung kann von den zuständigen Behörden überwacht werden (Betretens- und Besichtungsrecht der Behörden, Kontrolle nur während der üblichen Geschäftszeiten, Auskunftsverweigerungsrecht).
