Zur Herstellung von Rechtsklarheit im Übergangszeitraum bis zum 31. Dezember 2020 im Bundesrecht: Anwendung der Regelungen mit Bezug auf die Europäische Union bzw. die Europäische Atomgemeinschaft auch auf das Vereinigte Königreich, Ausnahmeregelungen, insbes. betr. Wahlrecht zum Europäischen Parlament; Zulässigkeit der Doppelstaatsbürgerschaft für britische und deutsche Einbürgerungsbewerber bei Antragstellung im Übergangszeitraum Beschlussempfehlung des Ausschusses: redaktionelle Anpassung an die auf der Sondertagung des Europäischen Rates am 25. November 2018 gebilligte Fassung des Brexit-Austrittsabkommens, einmalige Verlängerung des Übergangszeitraums bis maximal zum 31. Dezember 2022; Änderung §§ 1 und 2 Brexit-Übergangsgesetz
