Erleichterungen im Einbürgerungsverfahren: generelle Zulassung von Mehrstaatigkeit, vollständige Aufhebung der Optionspflicht beim lus-soli-Erwerb, Herabsetzung der Mindestaufenthaltsdauer für einen Anspruch auf Einbürgerung von acht auf fünf Jahre, diesbzgl. Verkürzung auf bis zu drei Jahren bei Nachweis besonderer Integrationsleistungen, Ausnahmen von dem Erfordernis zur Sicherung des Lebensunterhalts, erleichterte Einbürgerung für Gastarbeitergeneration durch Absenkung des Sprachniveaus und Wegfall des Einbürgerungstests, Härtefallregelung, Präzisierung der Ausschlussgründe für eine Einbürgerung, Klarstellung zum Begriff der freiheitlichen demokratischen Grundordnung, Aushändigung der Einbürgerungsurkunde, Übermittlung strafrechtlicher Verurteilungen mit menschenverachtenden Motiven an Staatsangehörigkeitsbehörden, Änderungen im Verfahren zur Sicherheitsprüfung in Einbürgerungsverfahren; Einschränkung von Grundrechten betr.
