Konsequente Umsetzung des Kyoto-Protokolls, Vereinbarung eines Kyoto-Folgeabkommens "Kyoto Plus" für den Zeitraum nach 2012, Einbeziehung von Schwellen- und Entwicklungsländern in einen gerechten Klimaschutz (Pro-Kopf-Emission), Entwicklung einer umfassenden Technologiestrategie für erneuerbare Energien mit gesetzlichen Rahmenbedingungen, Gründung einer IRENA, Einbeziehung der Emissionen des internationalen Flug- und Schiffsverkehrs in die Minderungspflichten, konsequentes Fortsetzen der Vorreiterrolle im Klimaschutz während der EU-Ratspräsidentschaft: Reduzierung der nationalen Treibhausgasemissionen bis 2020 um 40 Prozent, bis 2050 um 80 Prozent gegenüber 1990, Umgestaltung des zweiten Nationalen Allokationsplans, Teilnahme der USA und Kanadas an Klimaschutzzielen, Bekämpfung der Armut <p> </p>
