Summary

The bill harmonizes the packaging and labeling requirements for tobacco products and products related to tobacco products in the EU member states. The requirements for the packaging and labeling of tobacco products are becoming stricter. From May 20, 2016, sales packages of cigarettes and smoking tobacco must be labeled with new picture and text warnings.
