Summary
Eelnõuga võetakse Eesti õigusesse üle EKi delegeeritud vastav direktiiv, mille eesmärk on hõlbustada tubakatoodete ja tubakatootega seonduvate toodete siseturu sujuvat toimimist, võttes aluseks tervisekaitse kõrge taseme tagamise, eelkõige noorte ja laste tervise kaitse. Direktiivi eesmärkide saavutamiseks tuleb kuumutatud tubakatoodetele kehtiv erinevate maitsete lubamise ja pakendite märgistamise erand kaotada kogu ELis, et vältida erinevate reeglite kohaldumist eri liikmesriikides. Tubakatootest ja tubakatootega seonduvast tootest teavitamise nõuete rikkumise eest karistuste kehtestamise vajadus tuleneb direktiivi sätetest. Koostisest teavitamise kohustus on kehtestatud kooskõlas EKi vastava rakendusotsusega, millega kehtestatakse tubakatooteid käsitleva teabe esitamise ja kättesaadavaks tegemise vorm.
