Summary
Eelnõus kasutatav õiguskeeles uus termin „robotliikur“ on ratastel või muul veermikul maapinnaga kontaktis liikuv osaliselt või täielikult automaatne või kaugjuhitav sõiduk, mis kasutab ümbritseva keskkonna kohta teabe saamiseks andureid, kaameraid või muud seadmeid ja, saadud teavet kasutades, on suuteline liikuma osaliselt või täielikult juhi vahetu kontrollita ning mille valmistajakiirus ei ületa kuut kilomeetrit tunnis. Juhtivkomisjoniks määrati majanduskomisjon. Seletuskirjas märgitakse, et eelnõu eesmärk on aidata kaasa Eesti innovaatiliste ettevõtete tegevusele. Niinimetatud viimase kilomeetri pakivedu, olgu see kaugelt tulnud pakkide kojuvedu või meile kõigile igapäevaseks harjumuseks saanud poes käimine moodustab ca 20–40 protsenti kogu pakisaatmise kulust. Tendents on sinnapoole, et selle kulu vähendamiseks võiks selles sektoris kasutada roboteid. Hinnangute kohaselt võiksid kümne aasta pärast kuni 80 protsenti sellest viimasest pakiveo etapist teostada robotid.
