Summary
Eelnõuga täiendatakse politsei ja piirivalve seadust. Muudatuste eesmärk on pikendada politsei andmekogu andmete töötlemise viisi, tehnoloogilisi lahendusi ja turvameetmeid kajastava teabe juurdepääsupiirangut pikemaks ajaks, kui seda näeb ette praegune avaliku teabe seaduse (edaspidi AvTS) regulatsioon. AvTS-i järgi on teabe juurdepääsupiirangu tähtaeg kuni 5 aastat ning seda võib pikendada kuni 5 aasta võrra. Eelnõus nähakse ette võimalus pikendada eeltoodud teabele juurdepääsupiirangu tähtaega kokku kõige kauemaks kuni 30 aastaks.
