Summary

The bill makes changes that are necessary for the implementation of the field of unified European patent protection. The unified patent protection system gives applicants an additional opportunity to protect their invention in addition to the classic European patent. Such a system is cheaper, as currently the applicant has to pay amounts according to the number of countries in which he seeks protection for his invention. The system being created allows you to get patent protection for your invention with one application so that it has the same protection and effect in all Member States participating in the system. As of now, all EU member states except Spain and Croatia are connected to the single European patent creation system. In order to ensure the smooth operation of the new patent regulation, the foundation also has a unified patent court.
