Summary
Eelnõu täpsustab seaduse mõningaid sätteid Euroopa Liidu õigusest tulenevalt. Samuti täiendab vedaja ja veokorraldusjuhi hea maine nõuete loetelu täiendava väärteokoosseisuga. Muudatustega lisatakse tulenevalt nõukogu direktiivist nõue, milles käsitletakse ELis liiklevate ärilisel otstarbel kasutatavate sõidukite (auto ja selle haagis) tehnokontrolli ja -ülevaatust, et ettevõtja peab tagama auto ja selle haagise õige kasutamise, tehnilise korrasoleku ja nõuetekohase hoidmise. Nimetatud kohustusi peab lisaks veoseveole täitma ka tasulisel sõitjateveol. Kehtiva seaduse hea maine regulatsiooni täiendatakse viitega liiklusseaduse väärteokoosseisule, mis reguleerib sõidumeeriku või juhikaardi tahtlikku rikkumist.
