Summary

The law is being amended to encourage people to return to work and improve access to health insurance. Those on sick leave will have the opportunity to return to adjusted work as early as the 31st day, which affects more than 32,000 people. Also, the calculation of sickness benefits for pregnant women will be changed, the simultaneous payment of sickness and unemployment insurance benefits will be avoided, and the options for concluding voluntary health insurance will be expanded. Laws are currently in place allow a person to receive temporary incapacity benefit and unemployment insurance benefit at the same time. This is the payment of double replacement income, which is not practical from the point of view of the use of health insurance budget funds.
