Summary

The bill consolidates the data of economic activities with special requirements into one register in order to ensure more efficient data management, reduce administrative costs and security risks. For this purpose, the processing and issuing of requests for attendant cards and their management (data structure) will be transferred from the National Public Transport Register (ÜTRIS) to the Register of Economic Activities (MTR). Hosting the data structure in ÜTRIS poses serious security risks to the Transport Board, as the system is outdated and unmaintained. The continued hosting of outdated and unmaintained data composition also threatens other systems in use by the Transport Authority, which are located in the same cluster. Therefore, the public display of service cards in the current way will end. Currently, service cards are applied for and processed in MTR, but physical cards are issued, managed and published in ÜTRIS. It was also possible to find issued service cards in ÜTRIS. Such fragmentation increases the administrative and work load of both the state and entrepreneurs. As a result of the change, the application, issuance and record keeping of attendant cards will be transferred to the MTR. This reduces duplicate management of registers, improves data security and simplifies administration for both the state and companies. The change will reduce the administrative burden on entrepreneurs.
