Summary
Keeleõppe korraldus koondatakse haridus- ja teadusministeeriumi haldusalasse, et lõpetada killustatus ja tagada toimivamad lahendused ühiskonna ja tööturu jaoks. Kaasajastatakse riigikeele kasutusala regulatsiooni, tugevdatakse eestikeelse asjaajamise põhimõtteid avalikus sektoris ja parandatakse eesti keele õpet täiskasvanutele. Järelevalve keelenõuete täitmise üle muutub rangemaks. Kuna Eesti on viimaste aastatega muutunud rände sihtriigiks, on oluline nõuda eestikeelset asjaajamist kõigis avaliku sektori teenuseid osutavates asutustes. Nõuet laiendatakse kõigile avalik-õiguslikele asutustele ja kohalikele omavalitsustele. Keelenõuete erandid jäävad kehtima tippspetsialistidele ja välismaalt ajutiselt saabuvatele õpetajatele rahvusvahelistes või võõrkeelsetes õppekavades.
