Summary
Eelnõu näeb ette lubada öösihiku kasutamine nuhtlusisendite küttimisel, vajadusel võõrliikide tõrjel ning vigastatud uluki hukkamisel. Eelnõu näeb ette teatud juhtudel tasuta jahiloa väljaandmise ja jahi lubamise kaitsealade sihtkaitsevööndis ja piiranguvööndis. Eelnõu kohaselt on Keskkonnaametil õigus kehtestada uluki kaudu leviva haiguse tõkestamiseks, inimese elule või tervisele tekkiva ohu vältimiseks, võõrliigi surmamiseks, uluki tekitatud kahjustuse vältimiseks ja liiklusõnnetuses või muus õnnetuses viga saanud uluki surmamiseks tingimused ja ajavahemik, mille jooksul on lubatud ulukite laskmine seisva mootoriga mootor- ja maastikusõidukist, mootor- ja maastikusõidukit muul viisil kasutades, kunstliku valgusallika abil ning öösihikut kasutades. Jahiseadust muudetakse, et edaspidi antakse sellistel juhtudel jahiluba välja tasuta nendes piirkondades, mis jääb väljapoole jahipiirkonda. Samuti kehtib see kasutusse andmata jahipiirkonnas või jahimaal, aga ka riigi veekogu osas. Looduskaitseseaduse muudatustega sätestatakse eelnõus erisus, et sihtkaitsevööndis ja piiranguvööndis hetkel kehtivad piirangud ei kehti kaitseala valitseja nõusolekul jahipidamisele sigade Aafrika katku ja teiste uluki kaudu levivate haiguse tõkestamise korral.
