Summary

The bill makes e-invoicing mandatory when billing with the public sector. The corresponding EU directive regarding EU e-invoicing will also be adopted. An e-invoice is a machine-readable document prepared on the basis of a common standard, which is sent from one software system to another to avoid manual data entry for invoice payment. The purpose of the changes is to reduce the amount of work and time spent on invoices when settling with the public sector.
