Summary
Eelnõuga tehakse Vabariigi Valitsusele ettepanek koostada kuni 2045. aastani ulatuv terviklik riigikaitse arenguvisioon ja sellest lähtuv uus erakorraline riigikaitse arengukava kuni aastani 2034. Riigikaitse arengud peavad olema vastavuses ja ka ennetavad kaasaegse sõja vajadustega ja arvestama agressiivsest naaberriigist lähtuva seni muutumatuna püsiva ohuga. Eesti riigikaitse võimekuste areng saab toetuda ennekõike kvaliteedile ja teaduspõhisele riigi sõjalise võimekuste arengutele.
