Compléter cet article par les deux alinéas suivants : « III. – Si la personne qui est dans un coma ou un état végétatif irréversible a produit des directives anticipées qui prévoient l’accès à l’aide à mourir ou a désigné une personne de confiance, ses volontés s’imposent aux professionnels de santé suivant le patient. Dans ce cas, les I et II du présent article ne s’appliquent pas. « IV. – L’article 18 de la loi n° du relative au droit à l’aide à mourir n’est pas applicable aux personnes ayant manifesté leur volonté par l’intermédiaire des directives anticipées mentionnées à l’article L. 1111‑11 du présent code ou de la personne de confiance désignée conformément à l’article L. 1111‑6 du même code. »
