Summary
Mr. Anthony Brosse questions the Minister of Health, Families, Autonomy and People with Disabilities on the integration of fibromyalgia into the list of diseases recognized as long-term conditions (ALD). Currently, treatment for fibromyalgia is possible by off-list ALD, in accordance with article R. 322-6 of the social security code. A severe form must nevertheless be detected by a medical advisor, complicating the process of recognizing the pathology. In 2023, the Ministry of Health indicated that “the absence of known causes allowing medical admission criteria to be defined, the lack of identified diagnostic tests and the variability of care and treatments do not make it possible to constitute the basis for the creation of a long-term condition (ALD)”. Two years later, he would like to know if the research medical has progressed and the Government is now considering integrating fibromyalgia into the list of diseases recognized as ALD.
