Such a development would make it possible to clarify the chain of responsibility, limit the perverse effects of cascading subcontracting and guarantee better quality and traceability of interventions. While optical fiber now constitutes an essential infrastructure for the economic, social and administrative life of territories, it appears essential to open a fundamental reflection on the adequacy of the current economic model with the requirements of quality, continuity and reliability of the digital public service. She would therefore like to know the Government's position on these issues and to know whether an evolution of the regulatory and organizational framework for the deployment and maintenance of fiber optic networks is envisaged, in close connection with the local authorities and regulatory authorities.
