Mrs. Constance de Pélichy draws the attention of the Minister of National Education to the need to upgrade the status of specialized territorial agents of nursery schools (ATSEM). Today, there are around 60,000 ATSEMs in France, 99% of whom are women. They play an essential role in the proper functioning of nursery schools and contribute to the quality of care and daily life for young children.
