Summary
BSI PAS68 certification is a European standard aimed at guaranteeing the resistance of perimeter security equipment to attack by a ram vehicle by frontal impact. The tests carried out make it possible to evaluate the degree of performance of the equipment. Certification is issued when the vehicle is stopped and the measurements taken are used to assign a performance level to the equipment. As soon as a piece of equipment obtains certification, the test results are communicated and it is then easy to compare the equipment with each other. IW14 and ASTM standards are equivalent. They allow you to test the material(s) in question. It should be noted that the standard also applies to the use made of the equipment or during its installation, which must comply with the rules defined by the said standard.
