Summary
Ms. Laure Miller draws the attention of the Minister of Health, Families, Autonomy and People with Disabilities to the increasing difficulties in accessing certain pharmacological treatments recommended in the management of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Since the attacks of 2015, France has strengthened its system for treating psycho-trauma (CUMP, regional centers, CN2R) and this dynamic is part of the great national cause “mental health” 2025-2026. However, a worrying gap exists between this stated ambition and therapeutic reality: several molecules recommended as first-line treatment or as adjuncts in the treatment of PTSD are experiencing major access difficulties, or have even disappeared from the French market. Prazosin is the most striking example: indicated in particular for nightmares and sleep disorders linked to PTSD, it is no longer marketed nationally and its alternative form is no longer reimbursed. Other treatments are also affected by supply tensions, concretely complicating the practice of caregivers. In an international context marked by the multiplication of armed conflicts, PTSD constitutes a major public health issue for civilian populations as well as for the armed forces. She therefore wishes to know what measures the Government intends to take to prevent the disappearance, supply disruptions or delisting of these molecules and how it intends to guarantee patients' effective access to these treatments, in line with its priorities in terms of mental health.
